Lights should have a UL approval tag on strands and box
Unplug lights before changing lamps
Always wear heavy duty work gloves when working with electricity
To avoid electrical shock make sure all plug ends are tightly secured to electrical sockets
Use temporally gutter clips instead of staple guns to avoid damage to trim and electrical shock
Fasten temporally extension cords to ground with ground steaks to avoid injury or cut wire exposure
Do not plug in more than three strands in a row
